"Arrived late and was able to get checked in quickly. The room was clean and it didn't have any bad smells to it. It was quiet around the property and it was easy to get some much needed rest. The breakfast in the morning was good and filling. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area and need a good place to stay."

"Started with a thoughtful call from Jim who runs the place, during the late afternoon explaining our food options locally. Very considerate based on the dining options around here being limited after 7pm. The place is amazing. Rooms are incredible. We took the row boat and kayak out on the lake and then made a fire in the pit. Jim brought out some premade s’mores packs with sticks. Just an amazing and outstanding place. Would highly recommend staying here. "

"We stayed at this property for 1 night on our family UP Trip. The front desk staff were all very friendly. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were all great after a long day. Towels were provided right outside of the pool, so you didn't have to bring yours from your room. The breakfast in the morning was good and our room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area."

"This cabin has a lot of character and charm. I loved it because it reminded me of going to deer camp with my Dad when I was younger. If you have nostalgia for rustic living in the woods and the smell of a wood stove, this cabin is an absolute nostalgia-filled joy to stay in. It's a great place to relive those youthful memories, even though it's not the same cabin I stayed in as a kid. Great place to play board games, cook over an open flame, sit outside and star gaze, enjoy the bird song of being in the woods, and unplug for a weekend. I fully intend to come back as long as this cabin continues to be available on VRBO."
