Only was there for an overnight, but would definitely like to come back and spend some time exploring the island and surrounding area. Took advantage of the kayaks at the cabin to get out on the river and had a relaxing fire and watched the sunset. Fred and Candace are wonderful hosts. Plenty to do in the surrounding area —Great Lakes museums, Taqhamenon Falls, the Soo Locks, watching massive freighters navigate the St. Mary’s River. The cabin was on beautiful property and just as listed. It is right on the water so the views were stunning. Cabin was clean and comfy. This is a wonderful (tiny!) cabin at the back of a gorgeous riverfront property (the owners have their own home on the same land but nicely set back--the cabin is right on the river across from Canada). Beautifully appointed, very comfortable, and it's on a lovely island (the directions were perfect for taking the ferry, just a 90 second ride, to get there). Do note: it's a TINY cabin. Two bedrooms, yes, but these are very small. This is not a complaint at all, just a cautionary note: if you go with others, be sure you like be close together! :-) I will defintely go back. ##### Jay J.
