What a great place. Everything was great. The most comfortable beds. The rooms were so clean, all the extra little thoughtful touches were so nice (chocolates coffee tea juice milk, flowers biscuits, and more). The house was beautiful. And soo clean. Peter’s Breakfast was delicious , couldn’t finish it all. Izzy and Peter were wonderful. I felt so welcome. The pub across the street was great. The food the bar the music and dancing. Wonderful country house in the heart of Exmoor National Park. A charming character home with beautiful English garden in the quiet countryside near village of Exford. The generous breakfasts were gourmet, served in style in a lovely main room facing the garden. Tastefully furnished, scrupulously clean, welcoming hospitality, excellent advice for local hiking and touring. A wonderful stay!

Great chinwags with host David, a kind fellow. A very generous breakfast cooked to our liking. Great location, within walking distance to High Street, the Abbey, Chalice well and the Tor. Nice extras were a bathrobe and instant coffee/tea in the room. Thanks for your recommendations for local restaurants. Very pleasant stay.

Corine and Ron were the best hosts we have ever experienced! Ron is a talented chef and Corine just did everything she could to make sure we were happy, even to the point of helping me find a way to fill a prescription, when I hadn't brought enough from Canada! We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them and felt like friends by the time we left. The rooms were beautifully decorated and modern, each with its own theme. We were welcomed with a glass of wine, had dinner in their restaurant and...

Friendly owner, decent breakfast, clean rooms. If I would make any suggestions, it would be to have a luggage rack or large shelf in the room as there is limited space to lay a suitcase flat other than the bed.
