"Staying here was great! It was very cozy and quiet out in the woods. The hot tub was easy to use and enjoyable as well. Cabin is a little on the small side but just enough for two people. Only complaint was that there wasnt any shampoo provided and we hadnt thought to bring our own but its not too far from the store."

"We only life a couple of hours away, but this place sure seemed a world away! We had everything we needed for a great little get away. We were able to bring both our dogs (with permission) only two adults staying. We enjoyed the seclusion and trails. The views were spectacular! Want to come back when we can take advantage of being in and on the water!"

"Nice and comfortable, cosmetically the restroom could use a little improvement but it’s nothing that would stop us from coming back again! Really appreciated all the snacks and drinks left by the host. They even left a surprise welcome gift for my daughter. Situated very close to gem mines which is what we went for. Everything was clean! Bedding was fresh, beds comfortable. Washer and dryer was a lifesaver after the mines. No list of a million chores upon leaving (whew) We had a great time and would definitely come back. "

"I was very surprised at all the things that they left for us just like the breakfast in the refrigerator. It’s a very nice set up and we enjoyed it a lot. It was secluded and we enjoyed our privacy on the deck and in the evening we sat in the hot tub which when we look for a place to go that is the first thing we look for is a hot tub. Weaver sold them stay anywhere without one. Top notch property would definitely go again next time we’re down that way."

"The Black Squirrel was perfect. And the hosts were very responsive.Everything was super clean and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck with hot tub and fire pit. Hot Springs was very close by.I highly recommend booking this cabin. An extra touch was the chocolates left by the hosts. My husband liked that the best. You will love staying here."
