The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils and silverware. There were even a few seasonings available for people that don’t travel with their own! The river is absolutely amazing. It’s river rock botttom and very clear. There is a very slow moving slough just steps from the house. My son loved playing and fishing there! This can be the same path that the canoe flow down to, you will just have to get pick up yourself and bring your own tubes. The house has just about everything we need, do keep in mind that since it's next to the river, there are a lot of bugs and mosquitoes around, so just remember to spray when you go or sit at the patio. The kids love the river and it’s an excellent swimming location. They can fish and hunt for crawfish and frogs all day and all night. The house is absolutely gorgeous and we loved it. It was perfect for our trip. We walked down to the river and hung out in the water. We spent evenings on the balcony overlooking the river.
