We had booked because our daughter was playing in the state golf tournament at Glenwood Country Club we live a good ways away so we booked a house. We loved it. We took a walk down the river before dark, it was so nice. We enjoyed the outdoor space that night. Everything met our needs for the night. The river is absolutely amazing. It’s river rock botttom and very clear. There is a very slow moving slough just steps from the house. My son loved playing and fishing there! This can be the same path that the canoe flow down to, you will just have to get pick up yourself and bring your own tubes. The kids loved playing in the river and the games in the family room. It was a good location for visiting to the Crater of Diamonds as well as Hot Springs, while still having plenty of time to relax at the river. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, including a Keurig and tea kettle, as well as sticks for smore's over the firepit. Yes there were bugs and spiders outside- it is at the river after all- but we never saw any inside other than the occasionally fly we probably let in. What a great place, it was a home away from home. 50’ from a picturesque river. We walked in and felt right at home. The owner had everything you could think of available. The location next to the river allowed easy access and my 10 year old pulled 9 small mouth bass. It was such a comfortable stay. It’s location is prefect for enjoying the area attractions, Crystal mines, Hot Springs, Crater of Diamonds Ka-Do-Ha and the entire Caddo River. Definitely will return! ##### Brian H. It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and easily accommodated all of our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils and dishwear we need to make our planned meals. The owners were extremely responsive and welcoming. The location next to the river was perfect and the kids loved exploring the banks. We highly recommend this location! ##### Rachel B. Host is just awesome in response, really very quick and prompt reply. The only drawback I would say is grocery (even trash covers, salt,coffee, cooking oil everything you have to purchase).
