"Today is April 21, 2024. The property (including the grounds) is well maintained and clean. It's rural, so during sleeping hours it's pretty quiet--though there was a train around 0445 on Saturday. I don't know if I would have heard it if I wasn't already awake, though it's certainly not "off in the distance". (look at a map) I didn't hear one on Friday between midnight and 0800. "The place was an alright place to stay, especially for the price. The floors are uneven and the dishes available were lacking, there were not enough for us to eat. The couch is needing updated and the beds are not the most comfortable, but not the worst we have ever slept on. There was lots of room for us to spread out, which was nice. We did see a cockroach while we were there, but I believe it is typical in the area."

"We enjoyed our weekend for a volleyball tournament. We had 4 adults and 5 teenage girls. They loved the upstairs movie room & enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed eating supper and relaxing in the evenings at this lovely place with a beautiful lake view."
