« We were in Jefferson for the Civil War Reenactment and this house was perfect for our stay. It was across the street from one of the reenactor encampment locations and a short, easy walk to the downtown area. Even though it was close to everything, it was quie6 and peaceful. The house is beautiful and plenty large enough for a fwmily. Check in, check out super easy. The owner is very quick to answer questions. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next year. »

I enjoyed (and felt very safe walking around the neighborhood, each day, looking at the beautiful foliage and restored homes. « The house was super clean and we felt at home instantly. It is incredibly private, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the silence of the woods. There is also a beautiful nearby trail where you can see horses. Just a heads-up: there is no outdoor grill (likely to avoid attracting local wildlife), which we missed a bit. However, everything else was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend! »
