"Overall, very nice stay easy to locate and work with host. One comment I will say is I had my 80 year old mother with us, there was no outside light on for us and we arrived after dark. Then we came in dropped our things and left a light on in the living room while we grabbed dinner so that upon our return we would have the light. When we returned the light had been turned off, meaning the host had to have turned it off from inside the house. That felt very invasive and unsecure. Because of this...

"We all had a great time. My husband's three kids and their families joined us for his birthday. It was raining much of the time, so we didn't get to utilize the huge deck (and we only stayed one night). The house had plenty of room for all of us. It was nicely decorated and clean."

"Double Shot on Main is a good location when visiting the Bourbon Trail. The house is clean and in a quiet area of town. There were four adults in our group and we had plenty of space not to be crowded. The outdoor area was nice while the weather was cool enough to enjoy it."

"The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house."

"I met my 8 girlfriends from college in central Kentucky. The Havilah House was the perfect location for keeneland and bourbon tours and halfway between the bluegrass and Louisville airports. The house is comfortable and well stocked. The host was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. I would highly recommend it."

"My family and I came in to Shelbyville for a wedding and the house and its location was perfect for our needs. The front porch is just charming. Kitchen is wonderful. I would stay here again! The reason I gave four stars is the beds are not quite as listed. The master (which is amazing!) has a queen, not a king. The downstairs bedroom that is listed as a queen is a trundle that converts to two twins (maybe that is the king?). And the living room bed listed as a queen is a blowup mattress, not a...

"Loved it. It was a perfect setup for our family getaway and spending a weekend with my brother who is in a wheeelchair. Love that the ramp up to the door was ada compliant…. Only complaint was that the doorways was too small to accommodate his wheelchair but it all worked out :) "

"We loved the location of this rental. Lots of choices within walking distance. We had an issue with no devices to stream with in the bedrooms but the owner quickly resolved the issue and was very kind. The couches were not very comfortable but we managed once we got streaming devices in the bedrooms. You can sleep a lot of people, which was great but the rooms are small. No fault of the owner, just the way the house is. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the St. Mathew’s area."
