« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was comfortable, secluded, peaceful, charming and nice and simple. Totally chilled out and relaxed in the pleasant and beautiful lakeside retreat. Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Grounds were clean. Brought our dog, Zoey and she enjoyed it too. The getaway we needed. Thank you »

« A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. « This place was located very close to Plattsburgh where my friend and I went antique shopping and thrifting. Then we visiter Burlington which is vlose by via ferry. The cottage was quaint, charming and near the water. The place ws very clean and had plenty of room. The the kitchen had everything we need and a large dinning table. The porch also was a great feature as well. We really enjoyed oir stay and i am so glad I found this place online. »

« Loved our stay here, close to everything and we even got a little fishing in on our trip. Only negative is that since I am allergic to dogs and with them being as pet friendly as they are (I didn't see this when booking), I had some issues with my face swelling after sleeping in the bed. Some of the carpets also smelled like animal urine... but other than that, we absolutely loved it here. »
