Didn't like that parking was either street meter parking or you pay valet $45 a night or park in their lot for $35 a night. Front desk needs to mention you will NOT be getting all your deposit back due to resort fees. Other them that my stay here was great.

It was outstanding in every way imaginable! Went for our honeymoon, stayed in the Royale Suite,naclcony accesswith a view over courtyard,amazing. Rich history inside this mansion,gorgeous staircase in the entryway,not to mention the spooky ghosts to greet you when you stumble in from the convenient Tavern 10 FEET from the hotel! Located in awesome Capitol Hill, tons of local food,clothing and dank close by. Cannot wait to go back and see what Chris has in store for the basement!!!! Will be back soon,,

Called ahead and was told room would be ready in 20-30 mins. When we got there we were told it wasn’t ready now and we had to wait an hour longer. We paid for a Mountain View and waited for a high floor, the AC was broken in that room so the front desk moved us to a different room that ended up not being a Mountain View. We refused that room and were eventually given another room on a low floor that had the view of a roof and AC unit. The robe was dirty with a mud footprint on it and the slippers had self tanner and long hair all over them. The iron in the room was also messed up with plastic melted on the bottom that would have ruined our cloths if we didn’t notice first. After telling the front desk all of this, they offered no compensation or adjustments and just kind of ignored it. Front desk staff in general didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Very high expectations for this hotel and none were met. Would never stay there again. Shout out to the guy who helped the first night though. He already did his best to make something work for us.

Thankfully, everything changed when we went up to the Aviator Bar. From the moment we walked in, Perla welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt valued. She truly treated us like royalty! We also had the pleasure of meeting Deon and Ken, These two were amazing as well. Ken was so outgoing and great to talk to, you can catch him on the YouTube video for this hotel that talks about it. That’s how we knew him when we saw him. Deon was just full of absolute energy and a positive attitude that was amazing. He gave us some many places to check out during our stay and shared many spots that we went to see that were amazing. The rest of the crew, let me just tell you that the personable conversations were so amazing with the crew, from Emily, Audrey, Skylar, Carlos and Isabella. I thank all of these individuals for sharing all of there stories and family stories and history with us. The service was exceptional, the food was fantastic, Tuna nachos and sushi amazing and the atmosphere was second to none. The conversations, hospitality, and genuine care from the staff completely turned our experience around and made our stay memorable. It’s employees like Perla, Ken, Deon, and the entire Aviator Bar team who make guests want to come back. Thank you all for reminding us what true hospitality looks like! Also thank you to Brittany for her hospitality. Was a great Anniversary trip… God is great and trust in him!
