"Carolina, the concierge was incredible and made this an easy check-in and great trip. She met us at the apartment and explained everything and provided tips about the area. When small issues arose (such as the hair dryer broke) she was quick to solve them. The apartment is in a FANTASTIC location with access to attractions such as funicular and hop on close by. "Just back from 4 nights in this wonderful hotel. It is located right in the heart of Old Town Funchal, a block from the Cathedral, two blocks from the waterfront and near several great restaurants. Even though the hotel is in the middle of a pedestrian area, our room was very quiet. We had a junior suite and it was excellent value, with a large room, spacious walk-in shower, fluffy towels and bathroom amenities. Our rate included a full breakfast buffet, cooked-to-order eggs and pancakes. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. There is also a nice restaurant for lunch and dinner with indoor and outdoor seating and a rooftop bar. I would definitely stay again at this property."
