« If you are looking for a quiet and restful experience. The Whitney Lodge is just the place. We had a nice room with balcony view of Beaver Lake. We visited over 4th of July weekend and we saw fireworks all around the lake from our balcony. Thinking a stay in the fall would be amazing. »

« Room was clean and spacious. Tho labeled “handicapped,” it had a low toilet and no shower seat (the side of the tub was lower than most).
Breakfast area was a disgrace. Food was what one expects at a motel, but no yogurt. Coffee machine was broken. Only alternative was regular coffee from a canister. No decaf. No hot water for tea or oatmeal. Chair seats — all of them — had begun to shred. Chair backs were coveeed in apparently sturdy fabric, but they were dirty. Tables were unsteady. Room was...
