Hotels in Sea Colony, New Port Richey

"We had issues with very spotty wifi connections, that was the biggest negative. The staff was quite understanding, saying they are in the process of upgrading the wifi, but some outages were still happening. We did request a room change because of a family group being quite loud in the corridors at 11pm. The staff did speak to the parents and we were moved the next morning. Since we were in town visiting the grandkids we were not in the hotel much of the day, but were able to enjoy a good night sleep at days end."

"Parking was safe. We did not like the coffee. The bananas were too green to be eaten and there was not a second choice. Room was clean and the staff were very friendly and polite. This is our 3rd stay at his property."

"I don’t want to get anyone in trouble but when I went to check in, no one was there. I had to call the manager who showed up and didn’t know how much to charge me. I showed him my phone which had my reservation info. He charged me an amount that was less and then had to charge me more later. I don’t blame the manager as I feel he wasn’t given the information before hand. He was very helpful during the week we spent there although the tv in the bedroom didn’t work. I told him but it never was fixed. The bed was absolutely horrible and didn’t get a good nights sleep for the entire week we were there. The articles in the kitchen were in bad shape and mismatched. There was trash behind the couch from former guests which I cleaned up. Overall, for the price being a lot cheaper than other hotels, I guess we got what we paid for. The hotel is located near the beach but all the restaurants and beach activities are about a mile and a half walk."

"Have no idea why we were given a handicap room. Never asked for it and never needed it. The bed was almost on the floor and I have long legs. Plus one day we went out shopping for the day and came back at 6 o’clock, and our bed was never made."

"Very basic hotel, the room is big but definitely needs a renovation and more cleaning, no shower gel, only hand soap, our WiFi didn’t work and I had to call a customer service, front desk didn’t help me on that. The location is good."
