Hotel was clean but our bathroom had a terrible ongoing smell for no obvious reason (likely plumbing). Staff were very nice, but that’s not enough to make me want to stay there again. There is absolutely no soundproofing between rooms or floors. It sounded like people were in our room 24/7. They didn’t make our beds once in 4 nights. They did change towels once, upon my request. In terms of motel quality, it’s acceptable. But nothing above that.

The design of the suite was excellent especially the design of the second bathroom to accommodate the people using the fold out couch. The furnishings and the supplies in the kitchen were excellent. And I was glad that they made an allowance for recycling. We were disappointed that the indoor pool was closed for renovations. I understand that need to do the renovations in the summer season because there is still an outdoor pool to use. I was disappointed that they did not relay this information at the time we booked. We definitely would have looked at another hotel. We arrived at 4:00 p.m. hoping to get into our room, but had to wait over an hour before the room was available. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If we came back to this area, we would consider staying here again, but will definitely check about the indoor pool.

We booked a room with two queen beds, but upon check-in we were assigned a room with only one bed. We raised the issue immediately at the front desk, but staff insisted we had booked a one-bed room and directed us to contact Expedia. We contacted Expedia that same night, and they confirmed our reservation was for a double-bed room and agreed to assist in communicating with the hotel. However, Expedia was only able to reach the hotel three days later. Even after being contacted, the hotel refused to cooperate or discuss any resolution, and the issue remained unresolved. The main concern is not only the incorrect room assignment, but the hotel’s lack of honesty and accountability throughout the process. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and working toward a solution, they denied the issue and shifted responsibility to Expedia. If a hotel cannot even guarantee the room type that a guest has booked and paid for, then what exactly is the purpose of making a reservation? At the very least, the hotel should acknowledge the discrepancy honestly and make a reasonable effort to resolve it, rather than denying what was booked and shifting responsibility elsewhere. This hotel demonstrated poor integrity and very poor customer service. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again and would not recommend it.
