This is a very good hotel. It is just 5 minutes walk north of Munchener Freiheit transport interchange, that has U-bahn, bus and tram stops. There is also a tram stop right outside the hotel.
The standard rooms are very small, but the superior and executive rooms are excellent, bright, clean and well equipped.
Check in very efficient and friendly, with multi lingual staff.
Breakfast really good. Excellent bufffet but you also can order eggs, ham, bacon.
Our booking contained free mini bar which was well stocked with soft drings and beers.
The only very slight negative we would say is that there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the bedroom
My experience was overall very good, The staff was super nice and really helpful. The breakfast buffet had a variety of food, rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. It is true that it is not centered near Munich coty center but it is a couple of minutes walk from the underground station that connects to every where in Munich so it was very convenient. Would definarely come back and stay as a guest!
The hotel is in a great location - close to the city but quiet and more in the residential area next to the park which is lovely. It's dated tho, rooms are just ok. Decor is not great. The air conditioner blew hot air the entire time even after we complained , and I've seen that others have as well repeatedly. The concierge was rude and the front desk always backed up, and no answer when you call. They need more staff. The bathrooms aren't nice and can use an updating. As well as the furniture in the rooms. The hotel was renovated in 2012 and you can tell. The staff at the people's bar in the lobby however , were great and friendly and the food was good. It would be nice to see more options for food , ESP if you aren't German and staying at the hotel. Some more international choices would help. We had to call to have our mini bar restocked , even though I paid extra for that and breakfast. 35 euro - way too high. Also- more English speakers would be helpful.
I booked this hotel for a long(ish) stay of 3 weeks+
It is a what is called an "apart hotel" which means it is more liveable than s standard hotel. Nice solution if you get fed up with eating in restaurants all the time.
It is more convenient than a standard hotel as you can cook in it. Has fridge, crockery, pans, cutlery, microwave frill, sink separate bathroom.
It has Tv, satellite, sofa, a balcony, kitchen facilities for cooking etc. Lift access to all floors and onsite laundry facilities
I had a comfort level apartment which has the bed in the same room as the living/cooking area. this is fine for about a week, but if you are there longer term, go for a bigger, more comfortable Superior Apartment.
These "apart hotels" are a good solution for longer term stays.
Frederics staff are always helpful with question, bags etc.
Slick after hours check in using electronic code access, and lift to all floors means you can settle in on your first night quickly.
Most rooms have a balcony which is nice. I had an upper floor room, which meant I could see West Munich (Olympia Park/tower), and sunset.

"Often sung about and written off at times." However, Schwabing has maintained a whiff of Montmartre in Paris. Calmness …More
Great location, great room and lobby, wonderful staff. A very feel-good experience. The downsides were the tiny bathroom (although it is at least well-designed enough to just barely get away with it), and the lack of sound insulation, so you can hear what is going on in other rooms. But despite that I would definitely stay again. The front desk were always so charming, quick and welcoming, the decor is very funky and modern and new, and the room was extremely clean.

Cozy 3 star hotel with warm atmosphere and nicely furnished rooms. SITUATED IN THE FAMOUS QUARTER - SCHWABING - A RESIDENTIAL …More
A nice enough hotel when you need a basic and typical hotel with a convenient suburb and quiet environment. The rooms are small but well organized and comfortable. The heating and air is central and quiet with a adjustable height shower that is plenty tall for anyone up to 6'3" without bending. Internet was difficult for me with free allotment of data running out quickly but 5 euro per day for internet after that is not so bad. Breakfast was OK and expensive, and I could not have dinner when the burger was 17 Euro. I went out as this was too much. The attached coffee shop is good and a better choice for budget minded people like me.
I have stayed in this hotel three times now and can highly recommend it.The hotel is in a quiet and leafy part of a Munich and very close to the U 6 U Bahn and only about six stops from the downtown Marianplatz station.
The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are clean and very comfortable.
I will stay at the Pullman again next time I visit Munich.
Schwabing is Munich's social and nightlife hub. Much of the activity takes place day and night on Leopold Strasse, which has the huge Siegestor. Nightclubs are crammed around Wedekindplatz. The city's most popular beer garden is at the Chinese Tower in the English Garden, while further north is Olympiapark, which was built for the 1972 Olympics.
