The hotel staff were amazing. So kind and helpful. The place is beautiful and well kept. Breakfast had fresh fruit, great coffee, eggs and different types of bread each day we were there. The shuttle service was super convenient and the driver was extremely friendly. When I come back to Quito this will be my first choice.

This property is beautiful and the views from this hotel were incredible; they even had a telescope in the restaurant to see the "angel" up close! We got a corner room, with breath-taking city views from every angle. We got a wonderful breeze in the room by opening the windows. Every single staff member that we encountered was amazing - friendly, attentive, and happy to accommodate our every need - especially James. To use the jacuzzi, we had to give 4 hours' notice, but it was a delightful way to spend an evening with a bottle of wine. One note: the hotel is located in a more residential area and there was quite a bit of noise throughout the night (dogs barking, cars honking, etc.). If you are a light sleeper, you will probably need earplugs. The street is also quite steep with a very narrow turn at the bottom, and one of our drivers told us that some tours won't pick up from Vista del Angel because of the difficulty in getting larger vehicles through. We had no trouble getting Ubers to the hotel throughout our stay though. Food and service in the restaurant were delightful. Beautiful views from here too; though I wish the restaurant was open during the day so that we could sit on the lovely terrace for lunch or a drink. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous hotel in Quito!

What a gorgeous and well designed hotel. We absolutely loved our stay. The only 4 star given was due to the dining experience. The restaurant and rooftop restaurant are gorgeous. The food was fabulous, but the staff on all 4 occasions that we dined there left us sitting for long lengths of time without clearing dishes, not filling our coffee, no suggestion of additional beverage or dessert and then waiting for our bill up to 30 minutes with no communication what so ever. Hopefully with some positive training, this will be resolved as everything else was beyond our expectations.
