"Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben eingerichtet, Küche gut ausgestattet, Betten angenehm, Kinderbett, Hochstuhl und Waschmaschine vorhanden. Bei Kindern muss der Balkon im Auge behalten werden, da das Geländer aus Querstreben besteht, die sich prima zum Hochklettern eignen. "Wonderful location, run by genuinely lovely people. We took the self catering apartment option and it suited us down to the ground. Slightly remote if you are not fully mobile. We did not want to hire a car, so used taxis a lot. We were given a driver's number and received excellent service. There is a handy bus service into Funchal."

"Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay at this house. It is massive with room for everyone to spread out. The kids loved having room to run around outside and were thrilled with the trampoline and pool table. The pool is not heated, so it was a bit chilly during our stay in early May, but the kids still took a dip. The hot tub was lovely. The view was the best part. Absolutely stunning view of the ocean. "This was our fourth visit to Madeira and luckily we found this apartment and gave it a try. We couldn`t have been happier and wil rebook it for next year. We were greeted by Jan and he couldn`t have been more helpful. We knew he was just a call away if needed, but it was not necessary throughout the 42 night stay. The apartment is in the ideal position, bus stop directly outside to the centre, although it is only a nice 45 minute stroll. There are lovely restaurants all around the area....

"The location is probably the only thing that is worth mentioning. The building is very old and everything is the department is poorly maintained. There a a few restaurants right underneath and you will be bathed with cooking smells pretty much 24x7 (we were on the 6th floor and can’t imaging how much worse on lower floors). Parking is ridiculous and you need a lot of help from your friends to get in and out. "
