The concierge staff were extremely kind and helpful right from the beginning nothing seemed too much trouble. Hotel itself was immaculate and the room was more than we expected with an amazing view of the Douro river. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Bathroom facilities were amazing and so was the bed. Short walk to the main old town or a short taxi to all the main sights. Breakfast was well cooked and a great experience, not all courses were to our taste but that is down to our personal taste. Orange juice was the best we’ve tasted. Would 100% return and recommend to friends and family.

I really enjoyed this hotel, it was more like an apartment and felt very much like Youropo thought of everything. The beds were comfortable, the TV was fully accessible with all the channels and a Smart TV, the washing machine worked great, the kitchen was well stocked, and the staff was very helpful. One staff member even gave me wine one evening when I came back early. It's also only three blocks from the main restaurants and bars downtown by the water.
