The room was so awful- holes in the wall where the tv used to be mounted, patched walls, paint on the paintings and so dirty when I wiped a spill up it blackened the rag. I tried to get new ones and they “had been out of them all day” according to the cleaners. The tv was daisy chained with an extension cord across the room. The balcony was a great view but the railing was rusted and rickety I thought it would fall down and it would be a terrible accident. Definitely one waiting to happen. The next day I asked for just a towel change out and for them to take our garbage which the front desk wrote down on a piece of paper. Needless to say, they never came to do it so I was hunting down a cart to try to get some fresh linens. Our toilet clogged that night and I called for help. A little while later a young girl appeared with gloves and a plunger and handed it to me saying “no maintenance were on site that day” and “let me know if you can’t get it unclogged and we will figure out what to do.” The strangest thing that has ever happened to me in a WYNDAM. The hotel charges way too much for this kind of experience- even if the ocean view is nice. Camping in my car would have been a better and similar experience.
