« Very hard to report this, but the property was uninhabitable when we were there.. High-level - there was area-wide sargassum inundation. This is not unusual. Low-level - the management's choice of how to deal with the situation in their particular bay (or not deal with it), was/is pitiful.

• We had a 4 night stay booked - had to leave early.
• The resort was vacant. There were maybe 5-10 other people total, which I assume was due to the situation (smell).

« Aruna Resort & Villas is a beautiful place to stay if you’re visiting San Pedro. Everyone there was very friendly and accommodating and cater to your every wish from the front office of Rose and Suzy, to the wait staff and boat captains. We never waited more than 10 minutes for the boat to come and pick us up to take us to San Pedro or back to the resort. The resort is beautifully landscaped. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the views are wonderful. Truly a vacation to remember. »
