San Michele dei Mucchietti Vacation Packages

This was my second stay at Hotel Phi. The location cannot be beat! I stayed in one of the apartments and it was an excellent experience - the kitchen was well-appointed for basic needs during my stay and the staff was immediately responsive to a small issue with the hot water one morning. I will definitely plan to stay here again during my next visit to Bologna.

The property could be difficult, if you are in the wheelchair or if you have trouble walking. The first floor has many up and down stairs, and it is inconvenient if you have disabilities or older and out of shape. Perhaps indicating accessibility my help. Bar and restaurant is nice, but accessibility is though a small door and up stairs. Not ideal. They do have an entrance outside from sidewalk. You cannot beat being in the center of Bologna steps from the piazza.

The hotel staff were wonderful. Aided us in getting a taxi nearly every night. Although we knew the beds in the room, we’re twin. We thought that they would be configured into a queen size bed. That was a disappointment. The view at our window was terrible. It looked like it was looking upon a junk pile. Also, the location was very far out. Every time we left, it costs nearly $20 to get to a restaurant or attraction. I believe the description should note that. We would’ve spent more money on the room had we known it would’ve saved us on all the taxis. The hotel itself, though was clean. The breakfast in the morning was adequate and the staff were very, very friendly and helpful.
