Walk to DT, Conv Ctr. Mins. to Zoo, Beach , Airport, Sea World Located in a Historic District on the Slope above Downtown San Diego, this beautiful Queen Ann Victorian accommodates up to 2 guests. This unit comes with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living area and a full size kitchen. No expense was spared in the design of this highly upgraded unit which features views of the Ocean, Coronado Bridge and the islands off the coast from the property's front porch. No expense was spared in the layout and design of this unit which is modern classic. The living area features a leather sofa, large LED smart TV, dining table and chairs, ceiling fan and in-wall air conditioner. The kitchen is beautifully upgraded complete with everything you will need to cook your own meals during your stay with us. The bathroom is separate from the bedrooms and equipped with plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a blow dryer. There are Queen size beds in each of 2 separate bedrooms. Both Queen beds have memory foam mattresses which are very comfortable. Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan, in-wall air conditioner and a high definition LED smart TV with cable access and streaming capability. Additional features include a Backyard common areas with Barbecue Grill, Gazebo with table and chairs and Outdoor Fireplace. Our property is located 5 minutes driving distance to the Convention Center, Gas Lamp district, Ball Park, Coronado Island, the Airport, Balboa Park and the Zoo. Freeway access is located around the corner and bus stop transits to and from downtown can be found within a block. All local beaches are within easy driving distance of the property. Some of Golden Hill’s most popular spots such as the Turf Club, Panchitas Bakery, Krakatoa Coffee Shop, Luigi's Pizza and Golden Hill Park are all within easy walking distance. The sleeping sofa is not really for sleeping. Turns out that 25th street seems to be heavily used by police and fire trucks. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and interacting with other parties. We didn’t spend much time in the unit during the days as we were exploring San Diego, but it was a great location to easily get to the Zoo and SeaWorld. The owner was in contact to make sure we were comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen seemed recently updated. Parking at this time of year was an issue and although somewhat close to downtown including PETCO Ballpark, (\~2miles) I would NOT recommend walking during these times., especially at night. However much smaller than it looks on VRBO and although you have your own space it is not very private. The neighborhood is very, very busy and parking is difficult.
