"The food was wholesome and delicious, local produce. The complex has a lot of steps, expect to log up your luggage to your room. It’s approximately 150 steps from the street level to the pool. The entire complex is in the valley and not getting much sun, so it was humid and damp in the room. It is very noisy in the rooms due to the fact that everything is open. The complex is right on a Hill on the only street to the beach. Motorbikes, cars and trucks will be heard at all times of day at night. "

"Hello, we went to Samana as a little family with a 5 year old child. The Hotel was nicer as expected, always people around if you have questions and the dining room so nice. The rooms nice and clean. Its just very loud in general, inside the hotel and outside...apart from that, everything was good, my son even wanted to stay there and not going home anymore haha. Thanks!!!"

"All amenities were removed from resort and beach area became public with locals using parasols. No bars at beach area and no animations. Would only go back if resort becomes all inclusive."
