Otherwise, the rooms were very stylish and well appointed and we liked the futon style bed. It’s quite a quiet hotel and about an £8 taxi ride out of town but, we had no issues getting a taxi and actually the mud bath was only a short taxi ride away. If you were looking for somewhere peaceful with beautiful views over the bay then this is the place for you. As with many Japanese hotels, the staff spoke limited English and there was nothing that using Google translate couldn’t handle. Recommended." They have a continental type breakfast sandwich, but we’re not really into breakfast much so we only ate it once. They do have coffee available. The coffee is quite good. We went to the music café just down the street for an interesting and good meal but most restaurant options require a car or a hike. The hotel is just off the expressway so very convenient if you have a car."
