Saint-Valery-sur-Somme Vacation Packages

Het gebruik van de sauna een echte aanrader, want geen plaats voor afkoeling en relax.

The staff were friendly. The room was very clean and the air conditioning worked well. There was plenty of drawers & cupboard space and enough wardrobe space for a short stay, but probably not enough for a longer stay. The shower was very good. The bed was a little strange. It was described as a Murphy Bed which was able to be folded up, but there were no bedside tables and the mattress ended about 10cm from the headboard. Apart from that everything was excellent.

I feel for the staff, hotel is tired and needs an uplift urgently. Also if no dining option available Sunday evenings that should be very clearly informed before booking !

The bathroom in the room, Sink extremely slow to drain. The toilet would not flush properly. This was on the top floor ( level 3 ) So would the lower 2 levels would have the same problem. The bathroom did not smell good due to the above issues. On the few occasions I asked for some ice cubes, none available ! The bread at breakfast, Wow, You would struggle to cut it, let alone eat it. Hard as hell. You would be lucky to see a mug for your tea. You might get sliced bread for your toast, bit of a lucky dip ! Would I go back ?? Probably not.

I had a weekend booked here with my daughter. While waiting to board Eurostar I received a message saying to call them regarding my booking. (Why didnt you ring me) anyway I rang and was told there is a problem with our room and we can't stay and there are no more rooms available and someone will call in 5 minutes. No one rang. We still boarded our train and went straight to the hotel and was greeted by lady who was not very helpful, I don't speak French, she didn't speak English so had to use phone translated. Long story short someone got us another hotel but when we got there by uber saw that it was in middle of nowhere and miles from anything and more expensive and again had to use translation on phone to get a different hotel which we did finally, nearer to things with lovely staff. This hotel caused us so much stress and anxiety as we both are Autistic. Not professional at all.
