The rooms have no aircon, we slept with the window open but as it’s close to the ferry port people leave early & drive over gravel past the front of the chateau so not the best night’s sleep in the summer. Beautifully decorated & very lovely staff, especially in the restaurant."

Second visit to this modestly-priced and honest hotel, and we now intend to use this as our regular first-stop hotel in France … which is a decent recommendation, n’est-ce pas?!"
