Everything was exactly as shown on the website, which I really appreciated. The property met all expectations in terms of comfort and presentation. The staff at the reception were especially wonderful—kind, helpful, informative, and very pleasant throughout my stay. They made the experience even more enjoyable with their professionalism and willingness to assist. Overall, a great stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

We stayed three nights over Easter at Capelongue, just one day after opening for the season—and unfortunately, it showed throughout. Check-in was poorly managed. We arrived at 12:30 with a pre-confirmed early check-in, yet no one could tell us when the room would be ready. We were sent to lunch (which was good), but even at 15:10 the room was still not available. When we pointed out that Expedia listed check-in from 15:00, we were told it was actually 16:00. We were eventually given the room shortly after, but the process felt disorganised. We booked a Deluxe Terrace but were given what seemed to be one of the smallest in that category, in the older part of the hotel. No seating area as shown in photos, visible dust, and a terrace next to the parking with a loud AC unit running constantly. It’s hard not to wonder whether booking via Expedia influenced the room allocation. Service lacked consistency: pool towels not cleared or set up properly, pool water not very clean, and empty glasses left around. Basic standards were missing. On the positive side, the food was good and restaurant service attentive, and the property is visually appealing. Overall, however, the experience fell short. Would return, but not at the start of the season.

If you need a place to stay near the train station, this is a very good option in the neighborhood. Not fancy, just clean and straightforward. Friendly staff.

Everything was clean and convenient near the station. However, although on the 5th floor I still needed earplugs for the noise. The decor and furniture are a little tired. Scratches and scuffs on the walls and the furniture looks a little bashed. The area is convenient and right by the arc de triomphe, but it didn't feel like the vest area of Marseille to stay. However, it had everything you need for a stay and reasonable value.
