Good place to stay near Plage caravelle and saint anne. Staff friendly and excellent breakfast.

My experience was not so good. It started out great. The staff is welcoming and informative. It is right on the beach. The beach is okay. The breakfast was not that great honestly but it’s alright. Although the place doesn’t look unclean, it was going good until I found roaches in my room. 2 by the curtains and one on the bed. I asked to change room which they did immediately. The night before I left I saw another one outside on the balcony in the 2nd room I got. That was very disturbing. You can book at your own discretion, however that was my experience.

I'll say this property was a little piece of heaven because of its proximity to the beach. Moreover, the beach is not saturated with tourists. The apartment itself was well kept. My only complaint is that there was a stain on one of the sheets in the smaller room; next time I'll bring my own sheets. I was also a bit disappointed with the breakfast because there was no protein; you have to pay extra for eggs. Still, the lady responsible for the breakfast was a breath of fresh air, and the croissants and chocolate bread were the best I've ever tasted. I did not meet the owner because I had arrived so late, but his representative, Denis, was courteous and so helpful. You call, and he responds right away. I've fallen in love with Guadeloupe and plan on vacation there every year. And yes, I really love this place; I had a wonderful time. Even my elderly mother enjoys the place because the beach is accessible by car. Touba Manga delivered, and next year I plan on staying there as well. Thank you, Denis, and the Breakfast lady (whom I'm embarrassed to say that I forgot her name) for making my stay so pleasant.

We had an awesome time staying at La Toubana! The set up of the resort on the cliff side is very unique….. having a pool up top overlooking the sea and beach below offers the best of both worlds. They have done a great job of making each bungalow feel secluded utilizing the elevation of the cliff and foliage of the land. Bungalow 19 had a great view of a small cover and cliff side but also the southern tip of Basse-Terre in the background. This resort is on the smaller scale and more intimate, if you’re looking for busy nightlife this is not the place. At one point we had the pool to ourselves for close to 2 hours. Drinks and food are a little on the higher end compared to what can be found outside the resort. I would recommend getting a rental car to explore the islands as the resort has free parking. Overall an amazing experience and would totally recommend and even come back!
