"This is the old Hilton and the rooms and building shows it but staff were helpful despite language barriers at times. Extravagant breakfast buffet. Revolving restaurant is way overpriced for quality of food. Excellent view of Nile from the balcony side. "

"A better organized hotel in chaotic Cairo, staff are better trained, we rested well during stay. One downside point is that there is no safe passage to go cross the road to Nile bank (it’s not really a hotel problem)."

"Once in the lobby it is very impressive. It appears that the driving ramp to the lobby level is under renovation so one has to enter one floor below which is not impressive. Staff and services are high quality. We did not go to any of the restaurants in the hotel. Zaza restaurant across the street on the banks of the Nile had great food."
