Russeifa District Vacation Packages

Great

BIG MISTAKE. Never again. I made a prepaid reservation for one week and requested a non-smoking room. Once we entered the hotel, my wife and I realized how big of a trouble we were in. The whole place smells like an extreme smoking contest arena. The apartment we were given was so smelly and unbearable. I immediately requested another apartment, which we were given. We thought we could pass the night and bear the inconvenience but the smoking aroma started flowing through the A/C vents and we had no choice but to pass the few remaining hours of that night with headache and very light sleep. We requested an early checkout next morning and refund for the remaining nights, as their cancellation policy states a charge for one night as a penalty. The management informed me that it is out of their hands since I prepaid Hotels.com. I communicated with Hotels.com support and they assured me that I will get a refund if the management sends an email stating their acceptance of my early checkout. Both parties pointed the finger to each other. The customer support tried few times to resolve this issue with the premises manager but without success. At this point, I couldn't care about money anymore since our continued stay there was out of the question. Hotel.com was exceptionally considerate as they offered me a small consolation voucher. It was so clear that the premises management was not willing to help in any way and they wouldn't pass this opportunity to grab this "easy money".

I booked this hotel last minute and was originally supposed to arrive after 7 pm, but due to stopping on the road to watch the beautiful stars, we ended up arriving after 11 pm. The staff was very attentive and waited for us, even sending a message to check if we were still coming. I liked the concept of paying upon arrival. The place was clean and the apartment was incredibly spacious. The only downside was that the beds were too firm for my comfort. However, considering the low price, it was still a very inexpensive option for a one-night stay. It's important to keep in mind that when the price is so low, you can't expect a 5-star experience. Nevertheless, the view of the city of Petra was absolutely stunning. The staff lady was very nice 👋 and polite.
