"We stayed the Alienor gite, just outside the lovely village of Lanquais near the Dordogne river. Our host Ann is really excellent host. The house is excellent - all the comforts of home, plenty of space, great welcome supplies, spotlessly cleane, nice and cool in the really hot recent weather and excellent value for money. "Plazac besticht durch die absolut ruhige und ungestörte Lage! Die Hauptstraße des Dorfes ist nur wenig befahren. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt ("Bio"), die Bäckerei ist fast gegenüber. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr interessanter Mann, der sich hervorragend mit den prähistorischen Fundstätten der Region auskennt und gute Tipps geben kann. Auch in punkto Restaurants gibt er die richtigen Empfehlungen: Das "Auberge Le Moustier" ist 5 Minuten entfernt (Le Moustier) und bietet Spitzengastronomie zu...
