A. Perfect good accomodations good location

The stay had some positives, but there were serious cleanliness concerns that impacted our experience. When we arrived, we found a used diaper in the bathroom, which was very disturbing and made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned. Shortly after getting into bed, both my husband and I experienced itching and redness, likely an allergic reaction to the bedding. It was uncomfortable enough that we had to move and sleep on the sofa bed. We used hydrocortisone and Benadryl to manage the reaction. Thankfully, our kids did not have any issues with their beds, and since we were only staying one night, we didn’t report it to staff at the time. However, these issues made the stay far from comfortable. Aside from this, the property itself seemed fine, but cleanliness and proper room preparation need significant improvement.

We loved our stay at the Homewood Suites in Durham. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful - they even accommodated my request to check in early. The room and entire hotel were very clean and well maintained. The location was easy to access and close to both UNC and Duke as well as grocery stores and restaurants. We'll be staying again when we return to Raleigh!

House keeping could be improved. Requested additional towels because they only clean every other day, and they would not bring them to the room. Made you pick them up downstairs.

Overall great stay... only complaint was the toilet was broke which i informed the front desk and they apologized and thanked me for bringing it to them attention.
