Overall, we had a lovely stay at Lungotevere Ripa 6. The location was brilliant—very central to most attractions, with an easy taxi pick-up point and convenient access to fixed-price rides using the Uber app.
The room itself was lovely and well-equipped, with thoughtful extras such as shower gel, a shower cap, and a vanity set, which were a nice touch. The only area that could be improved was the bathroom, as it needed a little more attention to detail when cleaning. There was some limescale on the shower screen, and drain was slow to empty.
Unfortunately, check-in was quite stressful. The contact number provided would not connect, and despite messaging through the Expedia app and sending a text message, we didn't receive a response. We were only able to access the building because a neighbour happened to let us in while taking her dog for a walk.
On check-out, we were greeted by a member of staff for the first time during our stay and were asked to provide our passport details and pay the city tax. We had no issue with either requirement, but it would have been much more convenient if these had been completed on arrival.
Despite these issues, we still had a lovely stay overall, and with a few improvements to the check-in process and attention to maintenance, this would be an excellent place to stay.
