Great location to a majority of the places you want to see. Far enough away to not deal with all the crowds afterwords. 15-20 walk depending on which landmark you want to see. Staff is incredible helpful and kind to make most of your stay in Rome.

Great renovation of the facilities. Lovely room with private patio. Very well laid out and provisioned. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, anticipating needs and offering great help and suggestions. Cleaning staff and room service were exceptional - great service. You can tell when a facility is run well and the staff are happy and motivated - this was a wonderful stay in our visit to Rome. Location was great - near the Opera and great restaurants, walkable to Trevi, Pantheon, and Borghese. Thanks for a great time at your hotel!

This hotel was perfect for our family of 4 for our 2-day stay in Rome. The hotel is very centrally located - next to a major subway line and even a 20-25 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. The staff were SO kind, helpful and friendly. Anna was exceptionally welcoming and gave us great advice for where to eat in the area. She also reserved a taxi to the airport for us and prepared a breakfast for us all since we left early before the buffet breakfast opened. That was a nice touch. I highly recommend Hotel Maximus!
