Excellent hotel, loved my stay here. The staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that you need the assistance of staff to enter and leave the property. I never had a problem with this, but after midnight they require a call to a staffmember to be buzzed in. It would be nice if they could implement keycard controlled access, but the building may not allow for that. Again only issue, hotel is great.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Golden for our Honeymoon. Very conveniently located - close to botanical gardens and a lovely walk down to the city centre. Also right next to several hire car companies which came in handy! Room was spacious and well equipped. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts! :)

We absolutely adored our stay here- the family is so kind and made us feel welcomed and cared for. The rooms are beautiful with big gorgeous windows and there is a door before the hotel to enter so we felt so safe ! The family were wonderful they helped us with our bags, advice on what to do or where to go and Giuseppe woke up at 5am just to order us our taxi for an early morning flight. I can’t recommend it enough. It is also a 15 minute walk to the trevi fountain and pantheon so we were able to pass it every day.

Hotel Golden was the perfect place for me and my friends. We started our trip in Rome and the staff helped us with any questions we had. The family staff was more than welcoming and our room was delightful (especially with air conditioning). Our location was about a 15minute walk to sightsee throughout Rome snd it worked out very well. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Rome should stay here.

This is an older, family-run hotel in a very affluent area of Rome. It’s very close to the Spagna Metro, as well as the Borghese gardens. It’s not a fancy, modern hotel with all the amenities, but it was clean and comfortable. The highlight of our trip was when the owner helped us find a car service to bring us to the airport in time for our 5 AM flight. Greatly appreciated!

The hotel was in a wonderful location and the owners, this is a family run business, who live on the premises are wonderful. So helpful and provide assistance with eating recommendations and transportation coordination. This was one of the property’s strengths. This is an older property, but it has good ac, great water pressure and our room was very quiet. The bed was very firm, but I slept great. The entrance to the room as noted in the reviews requires pick up your key at the front desk but someone is always available. Overall, we loved our stay.

The property is walking distance from Spanish steps, Fontana di Trevi and across de road of Gorghese museum and the park. It is extremely clean, very comfortable beds and spacious room. Voices could be heard from the other apartment, but not the hotel’s fault that walls are thin. The only matter that may bother someone is that there are no cups or proper glasses available in the room, but these were offered at request. The room key must the left at the hotel and the entrance is locked at all times, but there was always someone at the reception, so not a problem for us. Overall, it is a great place to stay, what you see in the website is what you get and no surprises. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I recommend the hotel with no reservation for those that plan to visit Rome more than stay in the room.

The staff made sure we were very informed of the rules and what to do it we arrived after a certain time. The room was very clean. We were 4 in the 2 bedroom suite. Bathroom was amazing. Great shower pressure and it was a walk in shower. Clean and newly renovated looking suit. The neighbourhood appeared to be more residential and quiet - felt very safe walking around. Walking distance from the major tourist sites.

Unbeatable location, a block from Via Veneto and only a short walk to Borghese Gardens. Room was very pleasant and even though the hotel had suspended breakfast service, management recommended an excellent spot just around the corner and was very helpful with arrival and departure arrangements. Only disappointment was the ancient (square) TV.
