The hotel offered great customer service, it was very clean and the staff helped with anything you required. The train station is 5 minute walking distance. Major attritions such as the colosseum was only a 15 minute walk the trevi fountain was a 12 minute walk a many great restaurants near by.

Booked via third party but I am a Hilton Diamond member. We were issued a first floor room where we listened to garbage and loading trucks all night. Deeply disappointed with this hotel policy around third party booking getting the lowest possible service - get very penalized when I spend tens of thousands of dollars to be Hilton loyal for business.

We had a wonderful 8 day stay at the Double Tree Monti recently. The staff is outstanding. In the main dining room and Mit cafe, Martina, Cristina and Camilla always welcomed us with a friendly smile and they are efficient, kind and the food was very good.Our room was quiet, clean, and the king size bed was comfortable. The hotel location is excellent as it is near the train/ metro station. The concierge staff, Patrick and Eduardo helped us with good restaurant reservations which were within walking distance from the hotel.In the evening, we enjoyed a glass of wine and free appetizers at the rooftop bar with beautiful views of the Santa Maria Maggiore basilica. I will recommend the Double Tree Monti to all of my friends traveling to Rome and look forward to our next visit.The only complaint is that the white terry cloth robes provided in the room are too short and small for men.
