The room was clean & spacious - they warn there are many insects about Inc mosquitos but guiding a beetle out the front door was a 😱
I also recommend sitting on the lobby terrace in the afternoon; cooler in the shade & great views with a decent espresso!
Staying for the Jazz:Refound festival in Cella Monte a few miles away......... you'll need the taxis they can organise or you'll be stuck unless you have your own car!!
Do look around the Terruggia itself.......not much to it really but the hotel recommended a nearby restauran, Il Melograno, for my friend with specific dietary requirements and the place was fantastic for local food & wine e.g. olive oil from within a few miles 🤗

"Absolutely fantastic location, as good as it gets. I stopped in the solo room which is enough room for one person. The bed isn't the comfiest I've ever slept in, but it's fine if just staying one of two nights. The staff were very helpful and things were made simply. Would definitely stay here again. ..."
