Chateau Beachfront Hotel, A By The Sea Resort

2/10 Terrible

"The room had a strong smell of humidity or mold coming out from the AC which was in an unhygienic condition. The linen pillows everything smelled bad, the restroom had pink color on the edges and I found a small hair. The Good: the lady at check in was very nice and gracious. The location is great but never coming back."

"I had such a wonderful time at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Panama City Florida Hotel from May 18-22 2026 stay. I enjoyed the amazing amenities like the complimentary breakfast, pool and beach access and especially the hotel room with beach front balcony. The beach virws were absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect to my liking and I am looking forward to my time spent there again soon."

"Roaches! Roaches! Roaches! Floors were nasty! Rest of the room dirty. I've stayed here for many years because I have a service animal and don't like the arguments at other establishments about having a service animal. The security gaurd actually new how to spot a true service animal and was very kind(Thank you). This will be my last stay here due to the nasty room!"

"View and access to the Gulf were good. Room was in poor shape. Mini fridge and television in the room with 2 beds didn't work. No replacements available. Several burners on stove in the kitchen room were broke. Requested to have room cleaned while we were out no one cleaned had to go back to front desk was given garbage sacks and toilet paper and towels told to put all towel and garbage outside the room. When they did send someone to clean had to leave the room they won't clean while your in your room. Wouldn't recommend this hotel."

"They charged my debit card twice. then they couldn’t figure out how to fix it, told me to call the management company on a weekday. Beautiful view of the ocean. parking was awful. they had about 12 spots on the main property, and a few more across the street,I ended up parking nearly a block away."

"Had a great time easy check in and out. Had a couple of questions for Ray who answered them rather quickly. Clean unit, plenty of dishes and silverware. The beach chairs came in handy. No complaints, will definitely be on our short list next time we back. Thanks for the excellent experience."
