"Breakfast on our first morning was very limited. Some of the hot items were cold and the oatmeal was thicker than usual. There were no bagels available that day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Most importantly, our room was clean and spacious. The sofa bed was uncomfortable, probably due to wear and tear! This is our 3rd time at this hotel, and more than likely, won't be our last! Thanks to the entire team. "

"My family and I like to go to the Kenilworth Hotel every time we are in NJ. Nice place, clean, and the staff welcome you like family. One thing I want them to change is the breakfast menu. It doesn't matter how many days I stay it's the same menu each day. Please upgrade the menu. Otherwise nice place."

"When we checked in, we discovered we did not get the room we booked on line with Expedia. When we told the front desk, they said they didn’t have to give us that room because we booked through Expedia. Also, we had to wait 2 1/2 hours to get towels. There were crumbs in the pullout sofa. And we were never told that we had to request our room be made up the night before. A very, very disappointing stay. Needless to say, we will never return."

"This was a really great experience until a massive leak through the ceiling caused water to pour into our room non-stop and they were unable to fix it. This was on my WEDDING night as well. It damaged some of my personal items including electronics and I have sent multiple emails and left several messages for the GM and have yet to hear back so unfortunately almost a week later so I will not be staying here again. I know accidents happen and some things are beyond the control of the hotel and can just be bad luck - but the handling of the situation and lack of communication since then to compensate for the damage is just ruining the experience even more."

"I believe you get what you pay for, and calibrate my expectations accordingly. In this case, however, even my low expectations were disappointed. The bed was the best thing, so props for that. But the front desk guy (who was there the evening I checked in and again the next morning at breakfast time), was on his phone always speaking very loudly in a south Asian language, even in the "breakfast" room. Breakfast was sausage links and...hard boiled eggs. Seriously. The room felt like a jail cell and the hallway was dark and dirty."
