You're a short drive to the city to experience all the great things Rochester has to offer. Or head down the lake to hiking and bird watching spots that will have views for days.   
  
Charlotte neighborhood enjoy the best of all possible worlds -- a scenic resort village situated inside a world-class city. A very active and cohesive Neighborhood Association completes the small-town feel. In summer, locals and visitors flock to Ontario Park Beach, music concerts and special events like the Rochester Harbor and Carousel Festival. Each winter, the Lakeside Winter celebration draws hundreds to the "Chilly, Chili Challenge" and "Polar Plunge."  
  
As a guest, you can enjoy access to the entire house (except for the cleaner’s closet), including the spacious backyard, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, a full kitchen, and a washer and dryer.   
  
Please note that the smart tv is only available for you to sign into your own accounts, there are free viewing options as well. Please be sure to sign out of anything you have used before you leave.   
  
Getting around is easy, the beach is a mile away. It’s not that bad of a scenic walk, or a quick drive. The city is 15 mins to downtown, parking is not an issue really anywhere in the area. Feel free to reach out our check out our local guide section

The two well-appointed bedrooms are located upstairs and are perfect for relaxing after a wonderful day at the beach. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed and a dresser to unpack all your clothes.  
  
The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed and large windows with plenty of natural light. All of the beds feature plush pillow-top mattresses to ensure a sound night’s sleep for each member of your group.

There is one full bathroom, with a full size tub/shower combo. You’ll find a hairdryer and tasteful decor in the bathroom. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided, but bring your own if you’d like.

On the main floor, you’ll find a large kitchen, an elegant lounge, and a dining table, creating the ultimate hang-out space for your group.  
  
Make a delicious feast in the modern yet charming kitchen. You’ll find everything you’ll need to craft a tasty meal, including an oven, a stove, a dishwasher, and a full-size fridge and freezer.  
  
Spill something on your clothes? You’ll find an in-suite washer and dryer in this space. Paper towels, coffee, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, a sponge, dish soap, hand soap, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and garbage bags are all provided for your convenience! In the morning, enjoy a hot cup of coffee on the porch or take a walk down the hidden sidewalk along the lake!   
  
The central air-conditioner cools the house as you can all relax with plenty of seating, including a double reclining couch. Sign in to an app on the Smart TV and keep up with all your favorite shows while on vacation or play some games from the collection.

The property is in very shabby condition & poorly supplied. Very hard to contact management. Do not count on doing so in an emergency. Midway through our stay they did offer to come & do some minor repairs while we were staying there but i declined. Hopefully they will do so before they rent out the property again. Bed was comfortable but scanty on blankets. Would not stay again.

#### Smelled like Indian Food

The place was just ok...first impression was the smell...very strong of Indian food. Not real happy about that. We were driving 5 hours to get to the location and 4 pm was late for us to arrive but we were sent a message from what seemed to be a robot that we were not allowed an early check in. Obviously we were disappointed. Check out is 10am. Then we received a message about the neighborhood warning us not to go on the beach certain places because it was private property...when we got there the property that the message(that we could not respond to because it was automated) was talking about was obviously private. There were signs everywhere. Also only one tv in the whole place. One thing that we liked was the location. It was nice.

#### Bare Bones / No Frills 

While the location itself was nice and just a short stroll to the lake, the rental left much to be desired in terms of space and amenities. The living room was incredibly small – not enough seating if you have more than 2 people. The owner/ investor spent the bare minimum on essentials to make it livable. The beds were not very comfortable, kitchen only had very basic utensils, and a small bathroom. It felt more like a compact survival space than a vacation home. The furniture was minimal and not the most comfortable. The bedroom had the smallest end tables and a very tiny lamp. No overhead lighting, and it was very difficult to get dressed and ready if it were not light outside. If you're looking for a no-frills, bare-bones experience, this might work for you, but I wouldn't recommend it for those seeking comfort or relaxation. Overall, if you plan on spending most of your time out of the house and don't mind roughing it, this rental could work, but be prepared for a very minimalistic stay.

IT is a lovely small home, the two bedrooms are upstairs which means there is no privacy for the 5th blow-up bed. Also, the noise carries easily from downstairs to upstairs, but all in all it is a lovely house in an excellent area.

#### Beautiful beach home

We had a great stay at this property. We came to visit my son for the weekend. Property is close to RIT, U of R, and downtown, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Super comfortable and a huge kitchen stocked with everything we needed. Clean and well kept and just a block from the beach. Easy check in and check out, plus great communication. I'd definitely stay here again.

#### Nice place near Lake Ontario

Comfortable house - little yard in back was great for morning coffee - about a 10 minute walk to Ontario Beach Park where if you get there early in the morning is a memorable quiet time to your self - the house has everything needed for cooking, working online (if needed) and good communication from the host to make checking in and out easy.

#### Perfect little getaway

We found this to be a lovely location in a quiet and beautiful established neighborhood. We like to take walks and enjoyed the walkway across the street that offered an amazing view of Lake Ontario as well as the sidewalk that you can take all the way to Ontario Beach Park. The Beach Park was clean and well cared for, and attended by several lifeguards. We took chairs and a picnic lunch to enjoy right on the sandy beach, just feet from the water. It was a Monday and not crowded at all. We enjoyed the long walk out to the pier, though windy the day we went, but beautiful at sunset. The hose is a duplex, but just a perfect size for the two of us or would be plenty of room for an additional person or couple and even have an inflatable bed that can be used. We only stayed 3 days and 2 nights, but was comfortable (including the bed amd pillows) and clean. We appreciated the few books and local information magazines they provided as well. We had a slight issue with the lock on the door when we arrived, but a call to the owner/manager made quick short work of solving that, and checked in on us via text to make sure all was ok.was alsovery responsive when we were looking for a restaurant recommendation! Great stay and would definitely recommend!

#### Cute place very close to the beach park

Nice stay near the Ontario beach park. Unit was welcoming and cozy. Had a few issues with the cleanliness of the property due to the people before us bringing a pet unannounced- not the owners fault but the owner responded very quickly to my concerns and dealt with them the best he could. Would definitely stay again.

#### The lake house is adorable!

I loved the look of this house. Cozy and clean. Exactly what we were looking for. So close to the lake and the beach. Only drawback was the only bathroom was on the second floor, and I was traveling with my elderly mother. Easy to check In and good communication with the host.
