"This hotel is in a pretty busy area which can be good and bad depending on your needs. The outside looks old but when you go in the interior is very nice for an older hotel. The rooms are well kept. The hot tub was useable and hot it did look slightly dirty but you could smell the chlorine so it’s definitely being serviced etc. the pool Is cold which if your down for cold plunges could be beneficial right now. They do not have usb plug ins you do need to bring your charging box along with your cord. Which no big deal just noting for others. Only issue that would affect me from booking again is I could hear the neighbors going in and out their room (after 11 pm) talking super loudly. So much so that I just played really loud spa music to attempt to drown them out so I can sleep. Doing so ended up draining my phone battery and I missed my alarm for the morning. This is a clean reasonably priced hotel though so just bring something you can use to help you sleep."

"The staff was friendly when we checked in. The room was clean but could have used some maintenance. There wasn’t a closet, so the ironing board, luggage rack and hangers were in the bathroom. The tub/shower was sunken, surrounded by tile, slippery and difficult to get into, especially if you have physical limitations. Breakfast was grab and go or a bagel bar, so not many options. There were no extra blankets or pillows in the room, even with two beds. Overall, if you are looking for a basic motel with friendly staff this is a decent option for those on a budget."

"Beautiful lobby, great location within walking of Capital ibuilding and park, fine dining. Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Our room was s bit “long in the tooth”, particularly the bathroom and the extremely noisy air conditioning that made sleeping difficult. Room could use some updating, though it was clean."

"I booked and paid for a king room, but at check-in, they were sold out and gave us two queens instead. They blamed it on booking through a third-party website, which is unacceptable. After reading other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue. It feels like they overbook and don’t honor confirmed reservations. Very disappointing experience."
