I did love staying here, cons and pros below if you are interested! Cons: -The only major negative I have is not having large mats/room carpets down or providing a few washable ones as an option (which I understand it’s an ease for cleaning) but the inside tracked in so much sand and dirt and was EXTREMELY slippery when wet, especially the outside bathroom area, outside of the single small bathroom towel mat! Be very careful in the bathroom as the water from the shower will get everywhere inside due to no curtain and puddles will form and it is VERY slippery. -FYI the bathroom has a shared open ceiling with the next door unit’s bathroom. You cannot see them, but you can hear EVERYTHING; conversations, showers, using the toilet, etc.. Pros: Easy check in process. Street parking usually always available within a block (usually spaces in front available), bus stop one block away, 3 blocks from the beach, next to a friendly active park, dining options nearby, the beach is never overly crowded at all times, the TV allows you to login to your streaming services with setting an auto-log-out date, looks exactly like the photos, and the AC works great along with them having thick privacy curtains. Note: This acts as a stand alone rental - there is no staff on site and no housekeeping. Despite multiple listings sharing the same property, this specific unit has an outside property entrance.

We had a fantastic stay at Verde by DW and would absolutely stay here again, or happily try one of their other properties. From the moment we booked, the communication was excellent. The arrival email was detailed and informative, with clear check-in instructions, and we also appreciated the updates about brunch and other offerings at the sister hotels. Our room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were amazing, I genuinely wanted to take one home with me! I also loved the unique style and design of the property. It has so much character while still feeling welcoming and comfortable. The arrival email also hinted at a fun, interactive surprise inspired by Andy Warhol. I won’t spoil it, but it’s a really unique touch that adds a bit of fun to your stay. The room had everything we needed, and every detail felt well thought out. Overall, it was an excellent experience. We’d happily stay at Verde by DW again, or try one of their other properties, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, comfortable place to stay.
