So the location is the most best of this place as its right across the street from Bus station and kinda in old town of Riga. Room was decent and even amenities. The receptionist Aleksandrs needs to get training on hospitality and tone down his old grumpy man attitude. As I have been working in hospitality for over a decade I know how important and nice it is when the person serving you has nice manners and is friendly. This man was even saying "I think the paint splashes on the walls are not paintings just decor" - I would never talk such a nonsense about business where I work. And what kind of attitude he showed me when I came down confused - there is a room 31 and 331 on same floor, a bit stupid right, why it would be there unless there are three hundred rooms on same floor, but the receptionist in a very rude manner said "you must have been trying room 332, Im not that kind of man to try completely wrong numbers. After demeaning me as a school boy that there are rooms 31 and 331 he still had attitude and no greeting or thanking for stay. If he was in abroad he would have HR meeting and be trained how to talk to customers. Hes place is in basement with other old, dusty things, like his manner and presentation of himself. Hope this will be read by owners and people thinking of staying there. Very disappointed about fellow receptionist.
