"We stayed for a night and it was clean, unique and quaint. Rooms had character, but the kind we love. On site, they have the Old Salt which was. AMAZING food. After we took to the bar for Sunday night football. Breakfast in the AM wasn't anything to blow your mind, but it's free and something to grab on your way out. We would definitely stay again."

"I need a handicap accessible room and a roll-in shower. Our room was perfect. Bed was high enough to make it easier for me to stand up and use my rollator walker. Staff was very nice and very helpful. We would stay there again next time we are visiting Hampton Beach area. The restaurant next door called Buckley's was within walking distance for most people and the food was excellent."

"A group of 8 retired teachers stayed for 2 nights at this wonderful property right on the water. We loved the huge outdoor deck looking out over the water as well as the dock and all of the areas to sit and lounge. The she-shed was a hit for yoga and some quiet time. We loved watching the sun come up and over reflect on the pond as well as the lovely sunsets. The water is excellent for swimming and for paddling one of the many kayaks. Anna-Lisa, the owner, was superb with communication. We plan to return in 2027 for 3 nights! Thank you Anna-Lisa!"

"Very clean and cozy room. The inn keeper was so nice and welcoming. Such a great experience staying here. Parking was fine, we went when there was a festival downtown but once that cleared out we got parking right behind the building. Restaurant on the site looked amazing, but I ended up getting a to go breakfast right next door. Amazing location, amazing place. 10/10!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the house worked well for what our family needed. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and we were especially grateful for the air conditioning during the warm weather. The fresh flowers on the table when we arrived were also a really thoughtful touch!The house is older and has quite a bit of character, including noticeably sloping and uneven floors. That wasn’t a problem for us, but it’s something future guests may want to know.The bathrooms and bedding were clean, but the house overall could use a good deep cleaning. Some of the walls and surfaces looked pretty grimy and could use extra attention.The kitchen worked for simple breakfasts and coffee but was minimally stocked, with only a few drinking glasses and limited dishes. Cooking for a larger group would be difficult.The location was one of the highlights! We loved walking across the street to the chocolatier for fresh-baked cinnamon rolls on Saturday morning and delicious drinks. The house is also within walking distance of other wonderful shops in Amesbury.Overall, it was a comfortable home base for exploring the area. Great location!"
