"We had a great stay and would definitely come back! The cabin was clean, comfortable, well maintained, with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time away. The setting was peaceful and beautiful! What really stood out was the hospitality. The hosts were welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail made our stay even more enjoyable!"

"Booked a single queen room for four people that was listed as "roll away" beds available for the additional 1-2 occupants. Received the single queen room, and no roll away beds were available. Seemed like no roll away were ever available, so the listing was misleading. Fortunately one of our occupants was a child, but one of the adults had to sleep on an improvised mattress made of pillows scrounged from the front desk on the floor. Terrible experience, never had to deal with that before and I've stayed in every chain around. Shame on this property."

"We made our reservation through hotels.com (which we've used numerous times before). I had the confirmation and everything needed to check in. When I got there the person at the front desk could not get the La Quinta computer system to interact with the hotels.com computer system. I stood there for over 40 minutes trying to check in. There were at least 5 people in line behind me that were also waiting. At one point she said I could sit there and wait, but wasn't sure what the point of that would be other than to waste more time. She finally ended up cancelling our reservation and sending me out to my car to call hotels.com. When I called them, they had no idea what the problem was because on their end it looked fine. They tried to call the hotel, but no one answered. The person trying to check me in tried to call the manager several times, but got no answer. So I would say the staff was not trained at all in how to get past any computer cliches that might occur. At no point did she try to call hotels.com to see what the issue was. Very happy that she cancelled our reservation though. I called hotels.com and they got us into a much nicer place for the same price. Also, the La Quinta Inn looked very dirty and you couldn't pull your car into the front of the lobby because there were tiles falling down so they had it taped off. Very bad experience."

"The bed was VERY comfy, i read that there was soundproofing but the room was not totally soundproof. Even though it was very low i could still hear people in the next room talking and Mr Stomp stomp Mcstomp upstairs. The staff was very kind but did input my email incorrectly which having said that, for some reason happens often with others. It would have been nice if kids weren’t allowed to jump in the outdoor hot tub and perhaps limited to the one inside with the pool. It was a nice property but is $$$$"

"We were allocated a disability room despite being able bodied and booking months ahead. That was not a problem initially as it was just 1 night. When I went to shower we found the shower head was not held by the clamp and very low. It would not stay in shower position. My hubby held it for me so I could shower. The nozzles were spraying sideways so I went to rub the silicon to straighten them but noticed the shower head was covered in a brown substance. It was nasty. I requested to be moved. They accommodated us. The blind was also broken and would not close. Reception staff were good. Breakfast good. The other room was fine."
