⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at the Glockenhof Zürich was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The hotel is beautifully maintained, elegant, and perfectly located—just a short walk to Bahnhofstrasse, the Old Town, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation, making it an ideal base for exploring Zurich. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding hospitality. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to help. They made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of sightseeing. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail reflected the hotel’s commitment to quality and guest comfort. The breakfast was excellent with a wonderful variety of fresh, high-quality options, and the hotel’s beautiful courtyard was a relaxing oasis in the middle of the city. It looks like a retrofit hotel with poor floor plans and outdated design.

The rooms were really good - I love the design. The church bells can be a little loud if you like to sleep with open windows. I didn’t mind it; after an active day in the mountains, I sleep like a rock. The breakfast was so so; we must be spoiled from other hotels before. Location is perfect to start your day trips and the staff was happy to help with that as well. We were able to walk to a little spot just 5min away to take a swim in the lake as well - very convenient.
