« Excellent hotel, comfortable, nice designs, but sadly I experienced a flooding in the bathroom just taking a shower. Arrived Very late, tired and this happened. Phone was not working, rooms in a basement had not network thus I had to go to reception at midnight to ask for help. They gave me another room where the heater was turned on at 32 degrees! So impossible to sleep straight with such heat (even the walls and bed were extremely hot so no time to cool down. The personel tried to help bit...

« First impressions weren’t great, reception area and front of desk very unwelcoming and uninviting. When asking for recommendations of where to see in the area she was very unenthusiastic to tell us and acted as if we were a hindrance. Room was no better, looks like something from the 80’s that has been forgotten about. Booked a double and ended up with two single beds. Very dated and dirty, bathroom had hair in shower still, toilet seat doesn’t stay up so it kept falling on your back when...

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour au Maritim Hôtel de Cologne. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été séduits par l’accueil chaleureux et professionnel du personnel, toujours disponible et attentif. Cette première impression positive s’est confirmée tout au long de notre séjour. Notre chambre était confortable, propre et bien équipée, offrant un cadre reposant après nos journées de visite. La literie de qualité et le calme de l’espace ont largement contribué à notre confort. Le petit déjeuner a également été un vrai plaisir : varié, généreux et composé de produits frais. Le choix proposé permet à chacun de trouver son bonheur, et l’ambiance du buffet est agréable. Quelques points méritent toutefois d’être soulignés. L’hôtel est immense, presque démesuré, ce qui peut donner une impression un peu impersonnelle et rendre les déplacements internes moins fluides. Par ailleurs, il nous a fallu relancer deux fois la réception pour que la chambre soit faite, un détail surprenant et en dessous de ce que l’on attend d’un établissement affiché quatre étoiles. Dans l’ensemble, nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour, mais quelques ajustements dans l’organisation renforceraient encore l’expérience."

"The hotel is comfortable and very well located. However, there is no free access to either a swimming pool or a gym, which is extremely misleading. Both the pool and the gym are clearly shown in the hotel photos — the pool is even displayed as the second photo in the hotel description. In reality, access to the pool requires an additional fee, and the same applies to the gym. This is unacceptable and very disappointing, as these facilities are presented as part of the hotel experience when they are not included."
