"Location is fabulous & walkable to pretty much anywhere in the city - 3 minute walk to Bus Stop 4 located at Miðbakki (this is important if taking tours), 10 min walk to Bónus grocery store, close to pharmacy, shopping, convenience stores, museums, restaurants. Yet it's quiet! We stayed in unit 303. Staff were welcoming, helpful, informative, friendly, efficient. There is an elevator. Entrances are secure so only guests can enter/leave. Cleaning staff did a great job! The kitchen is a must, especially if trying to remain on budget. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, plates, etc. for meal prep. They have salt & pepper. We used our butter instead of buying oil. If you need extra towels, Nespresso coffee pods, or other cleaning products, ask at the front desk. Safe worked well. Beds were comfy & perfect amount of "soft". Lighting in the bathroom wasn't the greatest but there was a good reading lamp in the bedroom if needed. They also have a magnifying fold out mirror in the bathroom. The light and temperature controls were rather neat ... all electronically controlled by us. The only down-ish sides: - our balcony faced a black roof so no view to speak of but not a big deal because we didn't spend any time out there (cold!) and were out a lot of the time. - parking was a tad pricey (but it was in a locked secure garage) - I ended up splashing water everywhere as the shower only has a half door but great water pressure! Thank you for a great stay!"

"The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was really nice with something for everyone. It was also the cheapest meal in town. We did not eat or drink there otherwise. Downside = the bed was not comfortable. It was hard yet bouncy. We could feel the springs and every movement each other made. I still slept OK, but my husband did not, which made for a slightly cranky travel partner."

"Pros: The spa and breakfast was wonderful. The facility was very clean Cons: The beds were hard, especially the pullout couch bed, where you can literally feel the springs beneath. The comforters were tiny - twin sized turned from left to right of bed (instead of top to bottom) to appear as a regular sized comforter. This made it hard for us to sleep as two people were sharing one twin sized comforter in order for our child, on the pull out couch, to have a comforter. The door on one of our rooms (we had two rooms) would not automatically lock when we left the room and would remain ajar. Despite pulling it shut repeatedly, it only finally locked from the outside after we forcefully pulled it and held it. "

"Loved our stay here! The breakfast was amazing!!! And the location couldn't better!! The room was spacious and had more space than we needed. It was so nice to have a couch to relax in after walking the sitting. Parking is limited, so if you'd like to reserve a spot, reach out ahead of your stay to ensure you have one if you have a car. I loved not having to worry about finding a spot on the street. We were on the 2nd floor overlooking the street and the room was very quiet and the view was fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel!!!"

"I had an absolutely amazing stay at CityHub Reykjavik. Everything was spotlessly clean, from the rooms to the shared facilities, which really stood out. The amenities were excellent, and the hot tub was a definite highlight — perfect for relaxing after a day out. The room itself was clean, warm, and very comfortable, making it easy to unwind.
