Excellent hotel just a 12 min walk from downtown. Free parking around the corner is a great feature. The hotel is clean, the room was spacious (junior suite for three), and spa access was much appreciated. Will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Reykjavik.

No matter how busy the front desk or restaurant was, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Spa is a HUGE bonus after rainy/cold weather in Reykjavik or touring the amazing sites inland.

We had a lovely stay at the Grandi Hotel. Breakfast was amazing, staff was friendly and helpful, especially our friend working in the restaurant who helped us plan an amazing day north of the city. Beds were super comfy, and all was clean and well Designed.

The rooms are not 4 star hotel The sink is in the bedroom The closet are open Good but not great No cold air conditioning The restaurant is not open for lunch And the menu for dinner is small, no options for kids or teens

This is a great place to stay if you are spending a few days in Reykjavik. Close to everything but very quiet. Room was spare but very clean. Nice bar and restaurant. We appreciated the staff.

This hotel is in a perfect location in Reykjavík. You’re not directly in the center, but you are a walkable distance to all the shops and restaurants. The staff was excellent, They answered all of our questions and gave us directions to everything we needed. The hotel is clean. It was updated. The spa facilities were fantastic, the breakfast buffet excellent. It was an all around pleasant experience. The only negative aspect of the room was the lack of counter space around the sink. Being Americans we have a lot of items we store on our bathroom sink and there was not a lot of counter space to place all of our stuff. This was not a dealbreaker for us, because everything else was excellent!

We loved this hotel for the access to dining and shopping. While we spent most of our time on excursions, it was nice to come back after a long to being on the harbor- continuing the Icelandic experience effortlessly. We were immersed in everything we needed. The restaurant and coffee shop were great bonuses.
