"This is a very old school motel set up with the window making one of the rooms 4 walls and exterior entrance door. Nothing fancy by any means but a good clean room with nice towels and good hot water. We couldn't get the tv service to stop lagging but didn't mind the reason to "unplug". It was nice to have a frig. The beds were very soft (almost too much for my taste) and I'm glad it was cool weather because like 90% of places there, no AC. I think I saw some work starting to retro fit rooms with AC but not sure on that. Pool and hot tub looked nice but didn't use them. I would definitely stay here again if it was a quick trip. It would be nice if there was a microwave in the room for extended stays because it is very expensive to eat out all the time. All and all it was a wonderful stay."

"Stayed in the Osgood Suite. Tons of room. The trick is that all of the windows have an exterior walkway going past them, so if you want to leave the curtains open for natural light, a stranger can be looking right into the room at any time. Bathroom is functional but small. There is a small fridge, but no microwave so plan accordingly. On-site dining was really good and the hot tub was very nice and spacious. It is an old property and has a lot of charm, but set your expectations accordingly. It is difficult to keep this property maintained to the level of a 5-star resort. If you set the right expectations for a property with its history and location, it is a lovely place to stay in a lovely setting. We will look to stay here again."

"This hotel is very comfortable and easy access from the main arteries. The check-in counter lady is a gem. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is not remarkable but does the job."
